Clubhouse and Twitter Spaces announce new partnerships
🎧 After a year of social distancing with Zoom meetings, and late-night WhatsApp videos with friends, screen fatigue is one of the reasons why audio-based social networking took the world by storm.
⚔️ After Clubhouse’s launch last year, competitors quickly went to work: Twitter introduced Spaces, Facebook, LinkedIn, Slack and Reddit are also working on similar features, and even Spotify.
🏃🏽♀️ The race is on and, this week, 🗣️TED, the organisation behind those viral TED Talks, has partnered with Clubhouse to bring TED speakers to the live social audio app. On the other side, 🏈The National Football League (NFL) is signing on to use Twitter Spaces, hosting 20 live audio rooms throughout the 2021 season.
