Chinese gaming and entertainment company Bilibili used 1,500 drones to form a giant QR code so viewers could download a video game.
The drones formed a giant QR code in the Shanghai sky so that viewers could capture it with their mobile cameras. This would open a personalized link to the video game, so they could download it.
The QR code in the sky stunt was part of a drone show performed with the beautiful skyline along Huangpu River as its backdrop.
The drone show celebrates the first year anniversary of the Japanese role-playing video game "Princess Connect! Re: Dive".
The video game was first launched in Japan three years ago and in China in April 2020.
