LinkedIn is adding ‘stay-at-home mom’ titles and gender pronouns
To be more inclusive, as 2.3 million women leave the workforce
LinkedIn is making several changes to be more inclusive, adding:
new job titles, to allow more accurate descriptions to the time away from the paid labor force, as the pandemic closed schools and daycares, and decimated the service-oriented businesses that employ majority-female workforces.
a dedicated, formal field for users to add their gender pronouns to their profiles, to say whether they like to be referred to with the gender neutral they or them rather than he or him or she and her.
