Continente Labs: the first European brand to open a store without checkout boxes

🛒 Portuguese retail chain Continente and startup Sensei launched Continente Labs: a supermarket without checkout boxes. Just open the Continente Labs app at the entrance, it reads a QR code and the customer doesn’t have to worry about anything else, except for shopping, while the payment is fully automatic when you leave.

🌍 While being the first European brand with this concept, Amazon has already the Go Grocery stores in the USA and London, with Just Walk Out technology.

🚀 Like any Lab, these stores will test technologies and product ranges, and build what should be the best store experience for the consumer in the future.
